This year, VAGON awarded the best and most promising work in the final year of the Academy of Arts, University of Banja Luka!
The expert jury of our gallery chose a work - an installation called "Inside the Mechanism", authored by Marijana Đaković. Marijana Djakovic is an intermedial artist who is currently studying Intermedia Art at the Academy of Arts and Graphic Engineering at the Faculty of Technology in Banja Luka. In his work, he tends to combine new technologies with drawing, painting, installation, sculpture, text and tailoring. The focus of her creative expression is the exploration of topics that are relevant to her environment, with an emphasis on wider social problems and changes that affect society as a whole; as well as examining the unique inner world of an individual in that society.
