At Artist Talk with Irma Beširević, we discussed the position of artists in Sweden and how many opportunities are really opening up. We analyzed how important context is in artistic creation, and how much is production.
We also found out what he is currently working on and what bugs he encounters. And what is it that moves us.
Irma Beširević was born in Gothenburg, Sweden. She studied modern dance at the Royal Ballet Academy in Stockholm. She graduated from the Academy of Arts, University of Banja Luka, Department of Intermedia Art. She is currently pursuing her master's degree at HDK-Valand, University of Gothenburg. Artist Talk is important in order to articulate the situations that artists in our region face. We talk about the creative process, the position of artists in today's time, more precisely on the cultural and artistic scene today, the possibilities of art as a means for social change, but also about the experience of oneself in such a position.
The conversation was led by artist Isidora Brankovic.
