Veronika Podriadova, the exhibition curator, and artist Ana Saut discussed the process of collaboration, as well as Ana's artistic practice and the themes that shape her work. Through the conversation, they opened up issues of migration, personal and collective memories, and relationships with home and childhood \u2014 motifs that also form the basis of the exhibition The Home I Always Carry With Me.<\/p>
The audience had the opportunity to hear how personal experiences, memories and a sense of belonging are translated into artistic work, but also how through art you can explore complex relationships to the places we come from and which we carry with us, regardless of where we are.<\/p>
At the end of the meeting, Veronika and Ana prepared a short but very interesting memory exercise. Through this small joint experiment, the audience was invited to momentarily return to their own childhood and remember the details, smells, spaces and feelings that shape our personal idea of \u200b\u200bhome.
