The Artist Talk with Aleksa Jovanovi\u0107 is now available online on our Vagon Gallery YouTube channel!<\/p>

We discussed his creative journey and learned how \"Aljeks\" came to be. We got answers as to why painting is the foundation and how the process works! We analyzed the contemporary art scene and explored opportunities and shortcomings. Plus, we found out who his favorites are.<\/p>

Aleksa Jovanovic, born in 1999 in Petrovac na Mlavi. He attended the Gymnasium in Petrovac na Mlavi and then enrolled in the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, majoring in painting. He is currently in the fourth year of his undergraduate studies in the class of Professor Simonida Raj\u010devi\u0107. He received the Faculty of Fine Arts award for evening nude in 2022. He participated in the organization of the Youth Biennial in Belgrade in 2021. He has exhibited in three solo exhibitions and several group exhibitions.<\/p>
