Gallery Vagon is a brand of Art club Prostor. The idea of establishing a gallery arose from the intense need for gallery space and professional cooperation between the Gallery and the Artist. Vagon is a gallery that displays, promotes and sells the works of young artists, engaging and contemporary art. The Vagon Gallery is an example of professional cooperation between regional associations of contemporary art, galleries, museums, freelance artists and intellectuals in the Balkans, which consists of exhibition, promotion and sales segments.
Behind the Vagon Gallery stands a professional team of selected experts from various fields of contemporary art, design and art consulting, as well as external professional associates, consultants and gallerists.
The work of the gallery is coordinated by members of the Prostor Art Club Board of Directors, composed of eminent experts.
The primary function of the Vagon Gallery is the popularization of contemporary art among the wider and professional public in a regional context in order to connect them and place the works of artists on the regional and international market.
Also, through exhibitions and public showings, we work intensively on creating the local scene and developing the collector's awareness of contemporary art.
