The Zvono Award is awarded once a year based on a public competition and independent expert jury. It is the most significant professional incentive in Bosnia and Herzegovina intended for young artists, the main content of which includes a two-month artistic residency at Residency Unlimited in New York. Since its establishment in 2006, the Zvono Award has been considered a valuable professional reference and a kind of motivation for dedication to the artistic profession and profession. It is part of a wider network of participating organizations called the Young Visual Artist Award (YVAA) from Central and Eastern Europe, which consists of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Kosovo, Hungary, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia. The award is organized and implemented in partnership with the Trust for Mutual Understanding and Residency Unlimited organizations from New York.
The first in a series of conversations as part of the promotion of the ZVONO 2024 award was held by Ena Mitrovski and Isidora Branković with visual artist Saša Tatić, who, in addition to her enviable artistic practice, was a finalist for the ZVONO award twice!
