At the Artist Talk with Tajana Dedić-Starović, we talked about the importance of promoting a work of art. How important is the online audience and how to reach it. And about how much visibility is really visible. We learned about the development of her artistic sensibility and how she found a balance between commercial and artistic practice.
Tajana Dedić-Starović is a visual artist with a degree in psychology from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Banja Luka. She has participated in a significant number of group and several solo exhibitions. She was part of the production company “Adolescent Content”, Los Angeles, USA, as one of their creators in the position of photographer/director and artistic advisor at the independent gallery Art Klub Prostor.
Artist Talk is important in order to articulate the situations that artists in our region face. We talk about the creative process, the position of artists in today's time, more precisely on the cultural and artistic scene today, the possibilities of art as a means for social change, but also about the experience of oneself in such a position.
