In a conversation with visual artist Nikola Kekerović, we learned everything about the process of creating the art project "Feasibility Studies"

Nikola shared his artistic and social experiences of life in Berlin. And why he decides to return to the stage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Nikola Kekerović was born on January 27, 1991 in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He graduated in painting at the Academy of Arts of the University in Banja Luka. Co-founder and member of the "Apartment" project for the popularization of contemporary art in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with whom he briefly worked in BiH and the region. Awarded for the best artistic work from the research of mixed media at the annual final exhibition of the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka (2014), and the award for young video artists in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the "6th namaTre.ba project/biennale" in cooperation with KulturKontakt Austria and the Austrian federal agency. Enrolls in the MA study of painting at the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka (2016). Meanwhile, he was a singer in a hardcore metal band called "Statement of Hate" since 2009. Accepted to the master's program "Public Art and New Artist Strategies" at the BAUHAUS University in Weimar and moved to Germany. In Weimar, he was awarded the "Born to be Bauhaus" award (2018). After graduating with an MFA in "Public Art and New Artist Strategies", he moved to Berlin, where he currently lives and works.
