Катарина Ацимовић was born in 1999 in Zvornik. She completed High School of Economics in Loznica in 2019. She graduated in the class of Professor Jelena Каришик, majoring in Painting at the Academy of Arts, University of Banja Luka in 2022. In 2023, she completed her master's studies in the class of Professor Biljana Đurđević, majoring in Painting, at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. She has received numerous awards, some of the most significant being the 2022 award from the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska for the best works at the Annual Exhibition of Works by Students of the Academy of Arts, University of Banja Luka, and the 2022 award from the Semberija Museum for the best work at the 14th Bijeljina Biennial in Bijeljina. In 2021, she held two embroidery workshops at the Academy of Arts, University of Banja Luka, while in 2023 she passed the first level of traditional embroidery with Professor Vera Marković, PhD. She had seven solo and ten collective exhibitions.
