Mathieu Hendrickx (Oostende, BE 1987). His artistic practice focuses on film, sculpture and performance & where these media interact with each other. In his studio, he produces and collects objects, sculptures, (collages of) texts, images and sounds that form an eclectic playground as a starting point for future work. Letters, words & texts have occupied an increasingly central place in his practice recent years. It is not writing but rather sculpting. He has also been looking at his own hands, the hands of others and how they relate to each other since more than 10 years.
